On the Tarsus and Carpus of Birds, 1867 - 1872

This volume first contains the publication On the Tarsus and Carpus of Birds, by Edward S. Morse and published from the Annals of the Lyceum Natural History in New York. Following that are numerous drawings of the bones of various birds and other animals pasted into the pages, and some illustrated book plates. There are also numerous letters, both loose and pasted into the pages, pencil and pen drawings, drafts of at least one presentation, and sections of other publications. Drawings and publications generally appear to be about birds and a few other animals.
