This collection includes 11 book plates from Universal Technological Dictionary, or, Familiar Explanations of the Terms Used in All Arts and Sciences Containing Definitions Drawn from the Original Writers, and Illustrated by Plates, Epigrams, Cuts, &c. by George Crabb. The engraver was J. Shury.
The mammal book plate features of 7 various mammals.
The botatny book plates consists of 8 plates.
The conchology book plate features 33 figues.
The naturalist book plate features 20 men.

Found in storage along with materials from the Boston Society of Natural History, 2026; the book plate of mammals was in a folder titled "MAMMALS + ANTHROPOLOGY" with other book plates illustrations and the botany and conchology book plates were found in an untitled folder; and the plate of naturalist was found in folder of "NONMEMBER PORTRAITS."
