Insect Drawings
Scope and Contents
This collection contains 17 drawings of insects ranging from beetles, butterflies, moths, a phasmid, and beyond. The drawing types include: orignal drawings, book plates, and engravings from publications. Some drawings are in color while others black and white. A small selection included localities such as Mexico, China, Africa, Australia, and Great Britain.
Two items have been attributed to:
--A clipped cover of The Naturalist's Library Entomology Vol III British Butterflies, 1835
--A possible book plate by William Wing
