Scope and Contents
This series consists of reproductions of journals kept by Washburn during his expeditions, flight logs recording location and photographic exposure information, and supplementary guides created or compiled by the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Some binders contain documents related to Washburn’s talks, publications, and research/subjects of interest.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open to researchers.
As a preservation measure, the researcher is required to follow extra handling procedures, and for fragile materials, some materials may only be handled by the Archives staff during a research appointment.
For onsite access, researchers must schedule an appointment with the Archives as far in advance as possible; a minimum of three weeks is requested. Contact Archives@mos.org for more information.
