Scope and Contents
This subseries contains general marketing materials produced by the Charles Hayden Planetarium and external coverage of Planetarium activities. Materials produced by the Planetarium in this subseries include: informational booklets, brochures and ephemera; posters; news releases and press kits; and documents and photographs from various fundraising campaigns. Outside publicity in this subseries consists primarily of newspaper and magazine clippings. Marketing materials, posters, or news clippings associated with a specific special event or show are filed in Subseries 5: Courses, Lectures, and Special Events or Subseries 10: Shows.

This collection is open for research with the exception of certain files that are listed as restricted. Certain files which contain sensitive legal, financial, or personal information are restricted.
As a preservation measure due to the fragile condition of some materials, access may be restricted to where only Archives staff can handle the materials.
