Scope and Contents
This subseries documents the breadth of programming in the Charles Hayden Planetarium beyond scripted dome shows. Programming addressed in the subseries includes: astronomy courses, lectures, and lecture series; solar and lunar eclipse viewings and trips; activities surrounding the arrival of comets; Planetarium anniversary celebrations; Astronomy Days, Space Days, and Space Weeks; live performances in the Planetarium; and other astronomy-related special events. Digital assets in this subseries include event marketing materials and photographs taken at events. This collection is open for research with the exception of certain files that are listed as restricted. Certain files which contain sensitive legal, financial, or personal information are restricted.
As a preservation measure due to the fragile condition of some materials, access may be restricted to where only Archives staff can handle the materials.
