The textual materials are primarily in English. However, this collection does contain materials (primarily correspondence) in languages such as: German, Chinese, French, Russian, Japanese, Polish, and Spanish.

Conditions Governing Access

Extent

2.3 Linear Feet (3 letter document boxes; 1 flat box; 85 folders; 1 item)

2 Cubic Feet

Arrangement

Files are arranged chronologically. The original order of these materials was not determined; it is likely that much of the material was originally collected to be used as evidence at the 1996 mock trial in Fairbanks, and some original order might be inferred from lists of exhibits found in Box 2, Folders 24-25. However, when the materials were initially arranged in 2012 the order seems to have been lost. When these materials were integrated into the Washburn Papers no attempt was made to reconstruct original order. Instead, a uniform system of chronological arrangement was imposed.
