This collection is of a manuscript of an educational children’s book “Angee, the Ant” describing the life cycle of a queen black ant who encounters various other species of ant on her journey. The text includes references to ant behavior, ecology, and differences between species told via the narrative story. There is an introduction written by Charles T. Brues, a bibliography, and an appendix providing further scientific context.
