Scope and Contents
This subseries documents the wide variety of shows that have been produced and shown in the Planetarium since 1958. Folder titles enclosed in quotation marks indicate official show titles. The contents of these files vary but typically include: one or more drafts of the show script, background research materials, special effects lists and cue sheets, flyers and brochures, a sample of 35mm slides used in the show, and related notes and correspondence. The subseries also includes several files of show lists, general background research materials (including scripts and ephemera from other Planetariums), and general development notes. Digital records in this subseries include scripts, images and video assets, marketing materials, and documentation of the production of shows by the Planetarium. Digital formats found in this subseries include .JPG, .TIF, .MOV, .DOC, .DOCX, .PDF, .GIF, .BMP, .MP4, and .WAV.

This collection is open for research with the exception of certain files that are listed as restricted. Certain files which contain sensitive legal, financial, or personal information are restricted.
As a preservation measure due to the fragile condition of some materials, access may be restricted to where only Archives staff can handle the materials.
